Please be informed of the following details regarding the State-Level Military Parade and March (A80) in Hanoi, which may affect local transportation and tour schedules:
Event Schedule
Date & Time: Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM
This event marks the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam’s National Day.
Route & Viewing Locations
The parade begins at Ba Dinh Square and will continue along central streets such as Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Kim Ma, Liễu Giai, and more
Spectators are encouraged to arrive early—by around 6:00 AM or earlier—to secure good viewing spots along these routes
Road Closures and Traffic Changes
Full or partial road closures will be enforced from 10:00 PM on September 1 until 1:00 PM on September 2
These closures are essential for ensuring safety and maintaining orderly traffic flow during the event.
Parking & Accessibility for Tourists
Hanoi authorities have set up nearly 200 vehicle parking points across districts like Hoan Kiem, Dong Da, Tay Ho, Cau Giay, and Hai Ba Trung
