Your booking will be confirmed once we have approved it. By making a booking, you confirm that you have the authority to accept and agree on behalf of your party to the terms outlined in the booking conditions.  

 

Upon booking, you are required to submit a deposit per the booking terms. The remaining balance for your travel arrangements must be settled at least 2 months prior to your departure date. Failure to pay the deposit and/or balance on time will result in the cancellation of your travel arrangements. In the event of a delayed balance payment, your deposit will be retained.  

 

Kindly be informed that the invoice amount is net, and any associated bank charges are to be covered by the client.   

 

If you wish to modify your travel arrangements after paying the deposit and having your booking accepted, such as changing your departure date or accommodation, we will do our best to accommodate your requests, but changes may not always be feasible. Any request for changes must be submitted in writing by the person who made the booking. You may be required to cover any additional costs incurred as a result of these changes, which can increase as the departure date approaches. Therefore, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible.

 

You can transfer your booking to another person who meets all applicable conditions by providing us with written notice at least 14 days before your departure. Both you and the new traveler will be responsible for any costs we incur during this transfer.

 

Please note that certain travel arrangements may not be eligible for changes after a reservation is confirmed, and any alteration request could be subject to cancellation charges of up to 100% of that portion of the arrangements. 

 

You or any member of your group have the option to cancel your travel arrangements at any point. For cancellation, written notification from the individual who made the booking must be directed to the following email address: info@thehouzytravel.com. Please be aware that due to incurred costs associated with the cancellation of your travel arrangements, the following cancellation charges will apply:  

 

      ·        More than 60 days before arrival: deposit only

      ·        Between 60 and 31 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour cost

      ·        Between 30 and 22 days before arrival: 75% of the total tour cost

      ·        Less than 21 days before arrival or No show: 100% of the total tour cost

 

You may cancel your booking without incurring cancellation charges if the execution of your package, or the transport of passengers to Vietnam, is significantly impacted by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. In this case, we will terminate your booking and provide a full refund.  


It is a condition of your booking that we may make changes to any aspect of it. For insignificant changes, we will notify you accordingly. Examples of insignificant changes include reschedule of your flights, adjustment of train number, and relocation to accommodation of the same or higher standard.

 

If we are compelled by circumstances beyond our control to make significant alterations to any main aspects of the travel services included in your package, you will have the rights outlined below.

 

We will reach out to you, and you will have the option to accept the change or request a full refund of all payments made. You may also accept an alternative trip if one is offered (in this case, we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of lower value). We will provide details on how to make your choice. Please review any notification of changes carefully and respond promptly; failure to respond within the given timeframe may result in the cancellation of your booking.

 

If you choose to accept a refund, we will process it to your bank account within 30 – 15 days of your acceptance.


We reserve the right to cancel your booking only in cases of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances or if you fail to pay the final balance. Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances refer to situations beyond our control, the impact of which could not have been avoided even with reasonable measures taken. We will notify you promptly before your trip begins.

 

If your trip is canceled, you will have the option to receive a refund of all payments made or to accept an alternative holiday of comparable standard if we provide one. In the case of an alternative that is of lower value, we will refund the price difference.

 

Should a refund be issued, it will be deposited into your bank account within 30 – 15 days of the cancellation, and you will not be entitled to any additional compensation.


It is essential that you notify us promptly of any issues with the travel services included in your package. If any part of your package is not delivered as per the contract or is performed inadequately by us or our suppliers, and this impacts your enjoyment of the arrangements, you may be entitled to a price reduction or compensation, or both. However, we are not liable for any failures or improper performance caused by you, another member of your party, a third party unrelated to the travel services, or due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control that could not have been avoided even with reasonable measures.

 

If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances prevent us from ensuring your scheduled return, we will cover accommodation costs, if feasible, for up to three nights in a comparable category. This limit does not apply to individuals with reduced mobility, those accompanying them, pregnant women, unaccompanied minors, or individuals needing specific medical assistance, provided we are notified of these needs at least 7 days before your holiday begins.

 

Your entitlement to a refund or compensation is outlined in these booking conditions. If any payments are due to you, any sums provided by the airline or other service providers will be subtracted from that amount.

 

Please note that this entire clause does not apply to any separate contracts you may enter into for excursions or activities during your holiday.


If you have any complaints regarding the services included in your holiday, please notify our guide and local partner immediately. They will make every effort to resolve the issue.

 

If the matter remains unresolved after contacting them, please call our 24/7 Duty Phone as outlined in your travel documents. Should your complaint still not be addressed, you can follow up within 30 days of returning home by writing to our Customer Services Department at info@thehouzytravel.com. Make sure to include your booking reference and all relevant details, and keep your message clear and concise.

 

Please note that failing to report your complaint while at the resort may limit our ability to investigate and resolve the issue, potentially impacting your rights related to this booking.


It is your responsibility to confirm your specific passport, visa, and immigration requirements with the relevant embassies or consulates. We cannot accept responsibility if you are unable to travel due to non-compliance with these requirements.

 

In addition to passport and visa obligations, you must ensure you have a cancellation/travel insurance policy and obtain any mandatory vaccinations. You can find helpful links for obtaining the necessary documents and vaccinations in the “Practical Info” section on thehouzytravel.com.

 

Please ensure that the names on your tickets exactly match those in your passports. You are responsible for verifying that the names used during booking are correct and identical to your passport names.

 

Regarding departure and check-in times, it is important to arrive punctually at the specified meeting places. After tickets are issued, there may be changes to departure and arrival times, so you should stay informed about any updates.


Any excursions or tours you choose to book or pay for directly with operators other than us during your holiday are not included in your package with us. For these bookings, your contract will be with the respective operator, not with us. We are not responsible for the delivery of these excursions or tours, nor for any events that occur while they are being provided by these operators.


These terms & conditions are governed by Vietnam Law, and the jurisdiction of the Vietnam Courts.
